Redstone Communications has appointed Martin Balaam as chief executive officer. He replaces Ian Brown who has stepped down
from the role after four years. Brown will become a non-executive director of the company in due course.
Martin Balaam, aged 36, was chief executive officer of the Xpert Group, recently acquired by Redstone. He is overseeing the
integration of the two companies that, when completed, will employ 500 staff at ten sites in the UK and Ireland.
Brown said, "After four challenging but rewarding years at the helm of Redstone, I have decided that the time is right for
me to step down and let Martin Balaam take over. I have every confidence in Martin's abilities to lead the Group".
Balaam said, "I am extremely excited at the opportunities that lie ahead for the enlarged Redstone Group".
