XPERT COMMUNICATIONS APPOINTS NEW CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER - Rob Coyne joins from 3Com (UK and Ireland)

UK, Warrington, October 5, 2004 - Xpert Group today announced that it has appointed Rob Coyne as its new Chief Commercial Officer for Xpert Communications, joining the board alongside Martin Balaam, Chief Executive and Mo Ramzan, Group Financial Director. In his role, Coyne will focus on driving and increasing sales in Xpert's key markets of Health, Education, Local Government and Finance. In addition, Coyne will have responsibility for the further development of solutions around the core strengths of Xpert in the areas of convergence, security, wireless and contact centres. Rob Coyne has over 18 years technology sales and marketing experience. He joins Xpert from 3Com (UK and Ireland) where he was Managing Director. Coyne has also held positions with leading IT companies such as Computacenter, Northgate Information Solutions, US Robotics, Ascom Timeplex and Case Communications.
